1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the GroMe application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18 years old, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

GroMe is an educational mobile application designed for teenagers aged 12-18 that teaches entrepreneurship skills through interactive challenges, goal-setting, and reward-based learning. The App is intended for educational purposes only.

3. Eligibility

• Users must be between 12 and 18 years old
• Users under 13 must have parental or guardian consent (COPPA compliance)
• A parent or guardian must set up and oversee the account

4. Purchase and Unlock Codes

• Access to GroMe requires a one-time purchase of an unlock code priced at €29.99
• Unlock codes are in the format XXXX-XXXX (8 alphanumeric characters)
• Each purchase covers up to 3 teen profiles per family
• Unlock codes are non-transferable and for personal family use only
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe

5. Parent Zone and Parental Controls

The App includes a PIN-protected Parent Zone that allows parents/guardians to:

• Create custom tasks and set up rewards
• Approve or reject withdrawal requests
• Monitor teen progress and activity
• Enable weekly progress reports via email
• Manage family member profiles

6. Rewards and Money

• Rewards earned in the App are managed through the Vault feature
• Withdrawals can only be requested on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
• All withdrawal requests require parent/guardian approval
• Parents choose the method of transfer (Revolut, cash, etc.)
• GroMe does not hold or manage any real funds directly

7. Daily Usage Limits

The App enforces a 30-minute daily usage limit to promote healthy screen time habits. This limit is built into the App and cannot be disabled.

8. User Content

Users may submit reflections and responses to challenges within the App. By submitting content, you grant GroMe a non-exclusive right to use this content solely for the purpose of providing the educational service. All user-generated content remains on the user's device.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and educational materials within GroMe are owned by or licensed to GroMe. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

10. Educational Disclaimer

GroMe is designed for educational purposes only. The App does not provide financial advice, investment advice, or professional business consulting. Mini-games and financial simulations are simplified educational tools and do not represent real market conditions.

11. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Account Deletion

Users can delete all their data at any time through Settings > Data > Delete Account within the App. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

GroMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any financial decisions made based on educational content within the App.
